Day 9 – 10 things you will never do in lolita.

I know I should post this 3 days ago, but I couldn't.
I have had some problems with my laptop, it needed to be fixed only my local computer store couldn't fix it.
(the battery doesn't work anymore, it's empty the whole time...)
I sent it back to the factory, that can take 6 weeks o_O
So... now I still have my PC. It doesn't work that well, only when it wants to work.
It's a old PC, I think it's more than 10 years old!
This means it's possible that I can't blog every day, I hope all of my followers will understand this.

1. Going to a concert. (again)
One year ago I went to a live for Versailles in Amsterdam and it was so much fun..
I wore classic/sweet lolita but I didn't feel confortable at all. I was more afraid something would
happen to my clothes than I was enjoying the concert... >.<  Still it was nice to see Versailles!

2. Painting

3. Going to my work in lolita
I'm a part-time cleaning lady ,I don't think I can work in lolita.
It's uneasy and I my clothes will get dirty.

4. Going to a party

5. Do sports

6. I don't come near to my cat when I wear lolita. Fritzke is a cat with a orange/red haircolor.
You can see his hair on every color, it's quite annoying xD
I don't want to have his hair on my clothes, it takes lots of time to clean them.

I can't think of anything more..
Maybe it's because I don't wear lolita very often then you don't think about the things you will
never do in lolita.
I hope I can post tomorrow more about the 30 days lolita challenge!

  1. Also cycling isn't a very good idea, you have to pull your dress down every 5 seconds because of the wind :p

  2. ^ I always cycle in lolita? :p No problems, I just keep one hand on my knee to keep the skirt in place. And I wear bloomers, so if I accidently flash them, I don't really mind. :p

Anyways. I can understand why you wouldn't want to wear lolita to a concert. I'd also be afraid to ruin my clothes. But I have been thinking myself.. I don't really go to concerts anymore. But if I may go to a concert in the future, I'll probably wear a cheaper dress. Or I would consider buying a replica or something that I don't care as much if it would be ruined.

As for your cat.. You could take a blanket or something to put on your lap/body to cover your clothes and then pet your cat?
I have the same problem with my dog, since she has pure white hairs and I usually have black clothes. So yeah the hairs are visible and they are a pain in the ass. XD (but since I wear lolita so often I don't want to ignore my dog for 5 out of 7 days a week. XD So I just stock up those hair removing brushes and use them about 4 times a day.)

  3. Cycling isn't real problem for my lolita clothes just for my shoes. I always go to the train station with my bicicle when I go to a meet-up I have to be careful, but there is no other way. I don't want to walk for 15 minutes :P

It would be awful to ruin your clothes when you are going to a concert. I would be a solution to wear a replica or something cheaper, I never thought about that..

Thanks for the tips! Those hairs are really a pain in the ass xD I was considering to paint my cat black and pink but I think this is better! *just joking!*
I don't want to ignore Fritzke, so I think I need to brush him more.

  4. I always get annoyed when I have to cycle while wearing lolita :p I also always wear bloomers, but I try to prevent from showing.
Lucky for me, walking to the trainstation is approx. 8 minutes or less. :p

Also, I wouldn't wear lolita at a concert either. I would just like you be too concerned about my clothes, so I wouldn't enjoy the concert.
