Hello lovely princesses! <3
I said before that I would attend to meet-ups this weekend and so I did. ^^
It was so much fun! :D I was the best weekend I have had since months!
* Because most of the time I'm one day veeeeeeeeery lazy and the other day I'm going to do things, like meet-ups or visit my friends*
So...
First of all I'm going to tell you about the BJD meet-up, which was very close to my home, it was
held in Nijmegen so travelling wasn't really awful this time hahaha!
The BJD meet-up was held in the Think Pink shop. It was a sinterklaas meet-up.. Dutch people totally understand what you are going to do when you attend a sinterklaas BJD meet-up,
of course your dolls are going to pull off one shoes and put a wishlist or a drawing or something like that in it and then sinterklaas and his zwarte pieten come to bring presents.
But for non-dutch people it's a strange tradition, so let me explain it a little bit! ^^
Sinterklaas (or more formally Sint Nicolaas or Sint Nikolaas; Saint Nicolas in French; Sankt Nikolaus in German) is a traditional Winter holiday figure still celebrated today in the Low Countries, including the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as French Flanders (Lille), Artois (Arras) and Northern Germany. He is also well known in territories of the former Dutch Empire, including South Africa, Aruba, Suriname, Curaçao, Bonaire, and Indonesia. He is one of the sources of the holiday figure of Santa Claus in North America.
Although he is usually referred to as Sinterklaas, he is also known as De Goedheiligman (The Good Holy Man), Sint Nicolaas or simply as De Sint.
He is celebrated annually on Saint Nicholas' eve (5 December) or on the morning of 6 December in Belgium and Northern France. Originally, the feast celebrates the name day of Saint Nicholas — patron saint of children, sailors, and the city of Amsterdam, among others. Sint Nicholas being a bishop and this geographical spread make clear that the feast in this form has a Roman-Catholic background.

I hope you understand this tradition a little bit now! ^^

Fly away fashion high tea:
On sunday the fly away fashion* high tea was held in a small village called Houten, that's close to Utrecht for those who want to know that.
I went with my friend Ellis to this meet-up, unfortunately it was troublesome to go to Houten, normally it would take one and a half hour to arrive in Utrecht, this time one of the trains was broken and we couldn't go any further than Arnhem...
Luckily the problems with that train were solved very quickly so we could travel to Houten..
In the end it took us three hours to come there >.<
But it was totally worth it! It was so much fun to meet new people and to see some of the lolitas I already knew. And of course to see everyones outfits. ^^
Pictures from the fly away fashion shop:
First there was a high tea with sandwhiches, scones, cupcakes and more, and then we had some free time to make pictures, to talk to people and of course to shop in their lovely little shop.
After that the owners of the shop showed us their new winter collection, which was very beautiful and I bought this: The cape
socks
I'm very happy with it! <3
There was also a lotery, you could win nice things,
I didn't win anything but it was very nice of them that they organized it. ^^
What was I wearing on sunday?
After the meet-up we went to a restaurant of dinner, it was a delicous wok restaurant.
Then it was about time to go home..
Ellis & I on the way back, in the great veolia train:
Ellis wore a nice outfit, unfortunately you can't see it..
I really liked the skirt she wore ^_^
Oh, before I forget it, Ellis is going to make a drawing for me.
She can draw very well! I'm really happy she is going to do that ^__^
It's going be a drawing with me on it in sweet lolita and gothic lolita,
because those styles are my favorite!
