Day 3- 10 things you hate in lolita.

1.  Lolita fashion is very expensive, I don't like that! I want to buy lolita clothes for less money, I guess it would be less exclusive when lolita clothes became cheap.

                   2. Custom taxes?!! It's not really something I hate in lolita but it's connected to lolita.

I think I could buy a nice dress from all the money I had to pay for the customs...

3. The drama, especially on lolita secrets and egl. Most of the time I don't get the fuss about something, why would people worry about stupid things like that! If you have a problem with someone, just tell it directly to her/him.



I like to read the rest of the lolita secrets, I just hate it when it's about personal fights.

Oh and this one above is so funny, why is the iron gate print so expensive? I don't get it!

I absolutely love this print, still I'm not going to buy it. I won't spend 1400 euro on a dress that's only worth 400 euro.

4. Brands who copy each other. I love to see new prints, I don't like to see the same print again and again.

5. I don't like to see famous people who wear lolita ( the wrong way).

6. I hate misconception that lolita is about looking sexy and it's the same as in the book 'Lolita'.

7. People who sell second hand lolita clothing for a huge amount of money.

8. I don't like people who are really into the rules, I think those rules are more like guidelines. I like it more to create a own style. ^^ And were would the lolita style be without people who keep trying new things, it would be so boooooring!

9. I don't like hair accesories, I don't like the way hair accesoires look on me.

10. I hate scammers, do I need to say more?

Day 2 – 10 things you love in lolita.

1. I love the feeling lolita give me, I feel like a princess or like a little doll.

It's amazing what clothes can do, I never thought clothes could give me a cute look.

I don't consider myself cute... I don't wear girly clothes or very often.

2. Shoes, I love lolita shoes. I don't have many lolita shoes (4).

I don't allow myself to buy more shoes, when I will do that it's going to be a huge disaster.

Because I want to buy for every outfit one pair of shoes, then  >.<

I can't buy just one pair of shoes, I always buy many shoes around the same time.

So many nice shoes! Next year I'm going to buy one pair, or maybe two..

I haven't bought one and it's already going wrong  o_O

3. I love my lolita community and meet-ups. It's fun to talk with other people who love this style, to see my lolita friends and to meet new people.

4. Dresses with cute/beautiful prints and nice lace.

I love details!

5. I love to try wearing different styles, lolita has many substyles and I would love to try them all!

I'm happy because of that, I won't grow out lolita very soon.

6. I love that there is lolita clothing for dolls. I love to dress up my dolls in cute frilly clothing.

This outfit is so cute! I would love to dress up Nono like that.

7. Hats, I love all kinds of different hats.

8. Bloomers, I love them. I always wear bloomers when I wear lolita, I can't miss them! I also wear bloomers when it's very hot weather, I love to wear my bloomers and a cute top.

9. Long lolita dresses! Once I'm going to buy a long lolita dress or skirt.

I think long skirts or dresses are very elegant.

10. Wigs, I don't have to dye my hair every time.

It's makes it easier for me to try other hair colours or hair styles.

Day 1 – 10 things about your lolita bubble:

1. It's quite special that I wear lolita clothes now. When I was younger I hated girly clothes and I hated gothic clothes, I was pretty sacred of goths! After my goth/emo 'era' I started to wear lolita, isn't that weird?

I mean at this time I have worn all kinds of clothes I hated when I was a kid.

2. My favourite brands are Angelic Pretty and Moi-même-Moitié

3. I love to wear lolita still I don't wear it very often. I would like to wear lolita more often but I can't. I need to look a little bit 'professional' for my study.  I wear once a week lolita clothes, I'm always very happy to wear my favourite clothes!

4. I admire Mana-Sama, he is my lolita idol. It's more like a love/hate thingy, I always talk about how much I hate him because I spend all my money on pretty Moitié clothes but secretly I admire him. It's so unfair, he is more than 20 (??) years older than me, wears dresses (it's man for those who don't know that ) and still looks better than me  >.<

5. One of these days, I'm going to buy the cathedral jsk! It's my ultimate dream dress. ^_^

6. Half of my lolita clothes are offbrand, handmade or second hand.

7. I feel like a princess when I wear lolita clothes, it makes me feel happy!

8. My favourite styles are pirate lolita and gothic lolita and OTT sweet.

9. I'm a sort of lifestyle lolita even though I don't wear it every day. I love to design my own clothes, I make my own clothes, I collect stuffed animals, I love to bake especially cupcakes, I 'collect' Ball Jointed Dolls,

I read every day lolita blogs and I'm always searching for new lolita clothes.

I'm very busy these days because of school, work and ect.

The beginning of a school year is for me a new begin, it's more valuable for me than New Year.

I like New Years eve but it doesn't mean anything for me, there are no big changes.

When school starts again, there are changes, many new things, many new challenges.

That's why I made a list of things I want to do this year and a list of things I want to buy.

List of things I want to do:

• I want to go more often to meet-ups, I went to 5 meet-ups this summer. Now I don't have much time for it but I still want to attend meet-up because it's so much fun. I hope I can go to a meet-up very soon.
• I hope I can make my trip to Iceland next summer and hopefully I can visit Lissabon or Barcelona.
• Spending more time with friend, because they are so important to me!! 
• I want to pass for my first year on school.
• Wearing more lolita clothes, I want to try to improve my style and I want to begin with wearing other styles. I would love to wear (Hime) Gyaru and Cybergothic!


 

 
• Making my own clothes, next month I'm going to start with sewing lessons.
• Drawing, painting and writing. I used to do those things very often, I kind of forgot about these things because of I was so busy -_____-''
• Spending less time on the internet, No more blogging, facebook, hyves, egl, lolita forum,bjd forums for the whole day. 
• Going on holiday with my best friend. 
• Going to some more concerts, I love to go to concerts but I live in a awful village: the last train to my village goes on 12 o' clock so I can't go very often. In December I'm going to see Coldplay (YAAAAAAAAAY) and in March I go to Within Tempation.

Coldplay- Paradise.. it's such a beautiful song!

Things I want to buy: 

1. I want to buy one of my dream dresses: The black Cat, the witch and the apple tree, Silent Moon, Holy Queen,Cathedral, This is my Blood,Green Pompedour jsk (IW), Vampire Forest, Melty Mermaid,Cherry Berry Bunny, Sheep Garden, Happy Garden or another cute print. ^_^ Or maybe two dresses? I don't know, I will see, hopefully I can afford it! ^_______^
    
2. I want to give Noah a style change, I not sure about him.. The 'bonding' is going bad, I think it's because I'm not pleased with his look. I don't feel like he's my doll. I'm going to give him a new wig, new clothes (again xD) and maybe I let someone change his face-up. I'm not sure about changing his face-up, I like this one, but it doesn't suits the character which I have in mind for Noah.
3. Decoration and furniture for my room, that will cost a lot of money.  I need I new table, a antique cabinet, some carpets, clocks, a mannequin for my clothes and lots of decoration and accesoires.
   * I promised you to show some pictures of the progress of my room, I will show you those very soon. The work in progress now isn't very interesting, it's just some work to make it easier for the painters.*
4. A pirate hat, because pirate hats are awesome!
5. Some beautiful 'normal' clothes and shoes, I need more clothes and shoes! o_O
6. A new with long dress for Miki.
7. A reflexcamera?? How do you call it? I don't know! xD I want to take some beautiful pictures and improve my skills. And I hate my old camera!

Back to Black (EFF arcen 2011)

It's already a week ago since my last post on this blog..
The time is moving so fast, I couldn't find time for blogging last week.
I want to tell something about the Elf Fantasy Fair from this weekend, I went on Sunday.

The Elf Fantasy Fair is an outdoor fantasy event in the Netherlands which is traditionally held in April since 2001, but from 2009 it is held twice per year in Haarzuilens (in April at Castle de Haar) and in Arcen (in September at Castle Arcen). The Haarzuilens fair is the largest fantasy event in Europe and attracts some 22,500 visitors every year. The fair is managed by Stefan Struik since 2008, who also initiated the event in 2001. Apart from fantasy there is also representation from the science fiction, LARP, gothic, manga, cosplay and historical reenactment genres.

Since two years I go to both of the fairs, the one in Haarzuilens and to the one in Arcen. I have to admit, I like the fair in Arcen more, that's because of the location. For me it's very easy to travel to Arcen, it's only 20 minutes by car. The parc is very beautiful and there are lots of places without all the people so you can rest a little bit if you want to.

About my outfit:
I decided to wear something black, everything in the outfit had to be black, silver or gold.
My theme was to look like a cute gothic lady, the make-up is Amy Winehouse inspired.
Although you cannot see it very well! I'm trying to improve my make-up skills, I hate it when people

can't see it while I worked so hard on it  >.<
I like this outfit, I spent much money on it but it's worth it... I do not regret it, I love gothic lolita.
At the moment more than sweet lolita.

About the Elf Fantasy Fair itself:
It was so much fun! I saw lots of amazing people who wore such a beautiful outfits,
I listened to some nice bands (and some awful bands xD), I met some of my friends and I met new nice people. One day is way to short, I wish I can go the whole weekend next year.
This year I couldn't go on Saterday because of my best friends' birthday, that's more important than the EFF of course!

For the ones who live in Holland: Did you all survive the earthquake? Hahaha I'm joking it wasn't anything serious.. But I was very scared at first! I have never experienced a earthquake before..

Here is a little preview of what I'm going to wear next week wit the Elf Fantasy Fair in Arcen, I'm looking forward to it! The Elf fantasy Fair is a Dutch convention for people who want to be someone else for a day or they want to be him/herself for a day without all the negative reactions..
It's a festival for Goths, Lolitas, Cosplayers... I can go on for an hour, you can see everything that's not mainstream there. ^^

Oh and I'm wearing my new wig, what do you think about it? * I think it's so weird to have black hair xD*

I definitely not used to it, to have black hair.. I always wanted to have black hair though xD
Still I'm very happy it's a wig, you can put it off!
I very happy with the wig, it's so soft, I love the curls and of course the color. ^^

And my outfit? That's a secret! You will see it, at the EFF.
Oh and I nearly forgot to tell something, I have a new dress! A lolita dress!
Wasn't you challenging yourself to buy no lolita clothes again? Yes, I was...

sometimes even the right is wrong

Hello everyone!

Yeah all right.. I'm very angry on blogger now..
it's really annoying, blogger is destroying my posts, I write something and then it's gone -_-
Very annoying!

I'm sorry that I'm haven't post anything for a while, it's because of school and work,
it's very busy!

There is something else that may be interesting for you!
I'm really into pirates, and the VOC ( the Dutch east Indian compagnie) these days.
It's not that I like the things they did wrong, of course not..
The clothes, the decorations and the paintings those are the things I like. ^_^
I told all of you before that I want to change my rooms ( yes, I have two rooms, one bedroom and one for relexing)
I sure now: I want to have a sort of pirate/sailor room with nice paintings, old furniture, fishnets and many more of those things.
And of course a mathcing outfit, what's a pirate room without a pirate (lolita) outfit!
I'm going to use wallpaper of one wall, it's a very old fashioned wallpapar, it looks like something my granny would have and the others walls are going to be light brown, it's nearly white but you still can see a little bit brown in it.
Oh and I found a old chair, a really beautiful one, I totally love it! Only there is one problem, the chair needs renovation and I don't know if I can afford that. I hope so. ^^ ( pictures will follow very soon)
