Mimi is already a few weeks here at home, but I haven't post any other shoot than her box opening.

There were a lot other things on my mind recently so I haven't thought about taking pictures from Mimi, I hope you will understand...

It's the first of March, that means Spring is near.

It's my favorite season! I can't wait to see little lambs, kittens,other cute animals, lovely flowers and of course I can't wait until the weather is nice again! ^_^

The spring makes me feel happy!

 

I also can't wait to go shopping because the new spring collection in many shops is there.

I love the new collection from the H&M and Tally Weijl and I saw the collection from Zara and River Island has very lovely items too! :D

Now I know I will be broke this season, and I haven't talked about the new Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Angelic Pretty and Liz Lisa collection. I'm going to be so poor >.<

Thank you so much for the support, I feel better now.You are all so kind! <3
I decided to go on with lolita, I'm not giving up, I love it so why won't I wear it?
Now I'm feeling more secure about it and I already want to improve my style again.
I want to apologize for the post from before, it wasn't completely fair to write about my
'personal' life and I got a little bit in trouble because of it..
I felt like I was complaining about it and that wasn't my intension...

Blahblahblah, I'm going to stop talking about this, and I will remove the post partically,
I'm sorry for that...

Two weeks ago I went to the Vintage meet in Amsterdam which was very nice, I already told you about this... Recently I saw on a streetfashion website photos from that meeting.
I haven't told this before, there was a streetfashion photographer who was interesed in the clothes we were wearing and I wanted to make photos of it, of course!
I wish I could show you these photos here, but those are all copyrighted, the only thing I can do is show you the link. There are 6 photos, two group pics, two with me and Velvetbat and two with Jildou and Miradell on it. I hope you like these pictures, everyone looked great that day! ^___^

Yesterday was the Pirate meeting in Breda, I don't have any pictures of it at the moment, hopefully I can show you some very soon. ^^
I wore my divine cross skirt, with a little cape and the hat Iira made for me. Sadly, it won't fit first but Iira fixed it while we were in the restaurant, my head was too big for it hahahaha xD
Luckily Iira is such a kind person and she suggest to fix the hat!
It was nice to see my lolita friends again, and to meet some new people.
I like to meet new people but I'm so shy...
The high tea was lovely, I ate so much,I was happy that I could walk back to the car.. -_-''
Everyone wore such an amazing outfits, I love theme meetings, esspecially this on, I love pirate lolita!
Secretly I'm a pirate, so watch out for all your lovely burando clothes!! Lol, I'm just joking...

Saturday I went to Amsterdam for some school business, I also got the opportunity to go to my favorite fabric store. I bought fabrics for the new dress I'm going to make, it's going to look like this dress:


Not completely like that, it's not going to be an exact replica, because I really don't want to do that.
I want it to fit I'm my own style so I'm going to give it a few changes.
And it's made from another fabric, I like to use cotton instead of polyester.
The color is another green I think, but it's pretty, it's looks like Christmas tree green.. hihi xD
I believe there is also blue lace in the real one, only I'm going to use only black.

Have you seen the new print from Alice and the Pirates? I did! it's amazing, the perfect print for me,
it's a print with hats on it, I have this obsession with hat, that's why I need the jsk in my life~~
With an amazing hat, to wear with the outfit, otherwise the outfit will not be complete...




I'm doubting, which one would I pick? The purple one or the red one?!
I don't know, first I need to save up for it... or it will make a great 18th birthday present!
But I guess that's not going to happen..

Mystery repeats ~~

This week I was searching (again) to buy a new lolita dress, that's not something very special.

Normally I do that every day, if I have the time.

It doesn't mean I'm going to buy a new dress, I just like to find a dress I love and want to add it

to my wishlist...

Lately I'm not really amused by those new dresses, I like them but not enough to want them....

I always have the kind of feeling I already know the dress or the print.

Of course this is true, I know this for years, brand are copying each other so many dresses

from different brands look the same.

Only this isn't the only 'issue' there are also lolita brand who copying dresses from their own

brand, and saying it's a new print or dress.

Let me show you some examples:

Angelic pretty: Memorial Cake (2009) and Decoration dream. (2011)

Both very lovely dresses only they are very simular to each other.

Angelic pretty/Baby the stars shine bright: Vanilla-chan and Kitten in the room of sweets. (both 2010)

Cute Kittens? The dress design isn't the same, but I can see simularities. Pink and blue are both coming back in the designs. Can this be coincidence?! O_o

Alice and the Pirates: Vampire relequiem and The cat, the witch and the apple tree. (2009/2011, 2011)

First of all, I love these dresses, one of these days I will buy the cat the witch and the apple tree jsk, that's the only explitation I will make if it's about prints/dresses which look the same...

Still I think the print design looks like each other, it's not the same theme but it's the same format I think.

And the shape of the dress is nearly the same.

Do I need to say anything more about all these dresses?? xD

What do you think, is this pure coincidence? Or are these brands copying each other?

I think it's no coincidence..

I would rather see new fresh designs than the same print which is repeating himself.

For example, I already own the memorial cake from Angelic Pretty, I love the print but I'm

not going to buy Decoration Dream because it looks the same...

I'm not going to spent so much money on a jsk which looks the same as the one I already have

in my closet.

I would like to hear you opinion about this?
What do you think, do you mind?
Or is it something you don't care about at all?!

Hello everyone! ^_^

It's the first post of the year, I want to say happy new year to all of you!

The year 2012, who knows what it's going to bring us.

I hope it will be a great year for all of us!

So... now I want to talk.. talk about the new year,I have this feeling things are going to change.

Some of you know (the Dutch lolitas) that I'm selling some of  my lolita clothes.

It's not because I want to stop wearing lolita, I still love it so much! <3

Only there are some things that are more important and I want to love the clothes that I have in

my closet.

That's the whole problem, I don't like all my lolita clothing...

I because of I changed and my style changed a lot too.

I don't like the things I totally loved some years ago.

I want to have a lolita closet I can be proud of and I want to love all the items I have.

Don't wanna have items to make my closet look bigger.

So I hope I can sell the items I don't like anymore and buy something of it I totally love! ^______^

Merry Christmas!!

I want to wish my dear friends, family and followers a merry christmas!

Christmas is always a very special time for me, it's so great to see my family again and to be with friends.
On Christmas eve I went with my mom to friends,we had dinner there and we all watched the television program ''All you need is love''.
On the First Christmas day I went with mom and grandma to my family, it's was so nice to see them again! They don't live close to my home, so we can't see each other very often.
Today I had a 'Christmas breakfast' with my mom and tonight I'm going to have dinner at my dad's place.

For me Christmas is about spending time with family and friends and to have a great time with each other, it's not about the presents. Not I don't like to get presents! ^_~ 

I got some amazing Christmas presents, I got all kinds of  Japanese stuff from friends, it's so nice I got that!
I got from my aunt and uncle a antique candelier and a sort of sea chest which looks like a pirate chest! ^___^ Unfortunately I can't show those already because those things needs renovation, I will show you it when it's ready.
And I'm going to shop with my mom for Christmas, I don't know when or where, that's a surprise...

~~ We are glowing in the dark ~~

I went to the Coldplay concert yesterday, together with Renske.

It was amazing! I have had a great time, it was the best concert I have ever been to.

It kind of difficult to tell about when you wasn't there..

I think I'm going to show you a video, then it's easier to explain:

Can you see all those lights? Yeah, those lights are bracelets with light in it. ^^

When it became dark, everyone was glowing in the dark.

That wasn't all, there were falling baloons from the ceiling...

And more of these amazing things happend during the show!

Of course Coldplay was very good, I think they are even better live then on the CD.

There aren't many bands who are as good as them live, I think...

I loved to hear their music live and they played some of my favorite songs  (Every teardrop is 

a waterfall, Viva La Vida, Up in Flames, Violet Hill)

So... They played not only songs from their new albums also a few from other albums. ^^

 I don't know anything more to tell then:

If you are doubting to go to Coldplay, please go!

It's will cost time and a lot of money only it's absolutely worth it!  ^______^

goals for 2012 ~~

Hello ^__^

The year 2011 is over soon, that means it's nearly 2012.

What's this new year going bring me?
And what am I going to do in 2012?

What are my plans?

Let me tell some of my plans for 2012 to you!

 

• I want to sew more clothes. I want to design my own lolita outfits and make those for myself, I can wear a totally unique outfit then. I want to become better in sewing clothes and things ^.^ I want to make a blue sweet lolita dress and a long aristocrat dress inspired on a MMM dress, I can't wait to begin. Hopefully, I can finish those dresses next year!
• I want to improve my lolita coords and make some new ones. I love lolita fashion, so I'm going to wear it as much as possible next year. I hope I can buy one of my dream dresses next year. ^^
• Attend more meet-ups, I went to a many meet-ups in Summer but after that I only went to one meet-up and to the EFF in Arcen. Both meet-ups were so much fun only I want to see the lolita friends more often. It's such a shame I live so far away! :(
• I want to find out what I really want to become, I have completely no idea what job I want to have for the rest of my life..
• Show more (better) pictures of my Ball Jointed dolls and improve their styles. I hope I can be happy with all their looks next year~~
• Going on a trip to Iceland, I hope it's possible next year, because this year I wasn't able to go due some stupid conditions. I can't wait to go, Iceland has beautiful nature, I want to see animals who live there which I have never seen before in real life and visit the hot springs near Reykjavik, going to Reykjavik and of course see some geysers. I'm really looking forward to it!

I think this was it for next year, of course I have more plans for next year but those are more personal, I don't want the whole world to read them. *that's possible when you put things on the internet*

Hello dear readers!

I want to say hello to my new followers, thank you for following my blog ! ^.^
I could never imagine, I would have 30 followers!

As you all can see I changed my blog lay-out, I was in for something new..

Anton Pieck also designed 'De Efeling' a Dutch Theme park, it's my favorite theme park here in Holland.

So, if you are going to visit Holland some day and you have some free time, please go to 'De Efteling'.

You can see all kinds of fairytales, there are nice rollercoasters and a lot other nice attractions. ^^

These few day I don't know much to write about on my blog, it's because of the winter.

I don't like the winter.. I hate cold weather, I hate it that it becomes dark early but I like

Sinterklaas and Christmas and New year.

In the end I need to say to myself: It's not that awful, when the winter is over, it's going to be spring

and that's my favorite season.

Only I haven't got much inspiration for my blog now...

Tomorrow it's Sinterklaas here in the Netherlands, are you going to do somethings special?

So she eat all the Sinterklaas sweets, before that the chocolate mice& frogs warned their friends.

Unfortuantely for Nono they went to chase after her!
